Social Butterflies

Two parties in one week—we are truly social butterflies!  Tonight we went to a party at George and Shirley’s—to see their new kitchen remodel (which is truly gorgeous—red granite countertops!!!) and to see them off to Vancouver Island.  George and Shirley are true fishermen and own a condo and boat on northern Vancouver Island—they spend a couple months there every summer bringing back salmon and halibut for the rest of us!  That’s what we had for dinner tonight, salmon and pork loin for those non-salmon eaters (Geoff and Michael!!)  Dinner was spectacular and the company the same—it was a great evening!  Thank you George and Shirley!

I finished Aunt Marg’s quilt, loaded LoraLee’s quilt and quilted half of it by this afternoon late.  I’m on a roll.  And, I even found time to play ball with Ms Emmi!

That’s about it for our day here in Montana—60 degrees one day and 85 the next!!  Our little rain shower last night was just that—little!!  or nothing!!

  2. I really like your photo of the hay in the fields. I'm with Geoff and Michael about passing on the Salmon in place of something else.

I'll bet red granite counter tops look pretty awesome.
