Michael was energetic enough for both of us—you’ve heard the stories about people who move into unfinished houses and the houses are never finished?? Well, we’ve lived in this house for over 10 years and while the inside is basically finished there are some things which never were completed on the outside. Michael started laying rocks and cement around the base of the house today so we don’t have to look at ugly tar-paper anymore! Yippee!
Finished up my Easter projects and got a package off in the mail to my favorite niece (my only niece by the way). We won’t talk about how old she is but she has children of her own—doesn’t matter, she still gets an Easter package from Aunt Janna.
Went in to check on Nat and run some errands. He looks as if he’s been in a major fight and lost but is very chipper and feeling pretty good. We filled propane tanks, got Michael some more cement, visited the post office and grocery store before heading up the Boulder. Here’s Emmi saying, “where did my Dad go???”
I think we may have found the right ball—a basketball, Emmi can’t get her teeth into it (yet) and thus she stays cleaner!
Maybe my energy will return tomorrow!
My energy went out the door and I've never seen it return. Some days are good but others, it's all I can do to get dressed. Hate that feeling. Hope yours is just allergies and you feel much better soon.
ReplyDeleteLove that last photo - that part of Montana is so pretty!
ReplyDeletehave a restfull weekend!!..Mike can keep himself busy since he got a new bag of cement!!..and Emmi has her ball!
ReplyDeleteYep, know about those low energy days alright. They usually happen for me after a poor night's sleep...
ReplyDeleteHowdy Janna & Michael,
ReplyDeleteJanna, be sure and post some finished pics of the rock/stone work.
Does Mike sleep in that hat?? Why is he not working on the truck motor??
If the cement freezes he'll have to do it over!! Of course it don't freeze in Montana in April!! Yeah,
right!! The mountains look so pretty
and the air looks so clean!! Give Emmi a hug & tummy rub for me!!
With those great views, I can imagine that mundane tasks can be easily forgotten:)
ReplyDeleteYah those energy lacking days hit me from time to time. Best thing I find is to make lists of all the things I want to get done when I do feel better. That way I am at least "planning stuff" so I feel a little productive?
