Bouse and Quartzsite

After coffee, short doggie walks and computer browsing we all headed off down one of the washes for a walk--Jim, Ellie and their furkids turned back after a while but Michael was a slave driver and kept Emmi and me on the path.

Next on the agenda was the library in Bouse and the post office where I shipped off some salt and vinegar potato chips to our granddaughter Laci in Iraq. I am now a card carrying member of the Bouse library--that's a nice little spot to access the internet--you can even sit outside with your own laptop and use their satellite internet, free. They have a good book selection and also an assortment of movies.

On to Quartzsite where a late lunch was on the agenda. Ellie and I had Indian tacos, Jim a pork tenderloin sandwich and Mike had a hamburger which he later said was awful! We browsed the shops for a while and refreshed ourselves with ice cream. Look at that Ellie trying to hide the fact she had ice cream!

Hey cowboy, need another hat?

Ellie trying to decide if she needs a pair of gloves--the answer was no because that might mean work!
Checking it all out.

When we got home Ellie said she had an opened bottle of red wine that needed depletion and a new campfire ring we needed to try out. This box of wood has traveled far, all the way from West Yellowstone, MT this summer.
The three dogs--the older dogs are wondering when this bratty kid is going to be leaving!

It was a great day with great friends.
