Time is drawing near for us to head back to the sunny southwest and we are both sure ready. Today’s little blizzard which blew through just after lunch had us wishing for some margaritas and sunshine! It was gray and cloudy but not windy when all of a sudden the wind started howling and the snow started blowing:
This is not a fuzzy photo, that’s snow going sideways and the poor cowboy out in a blizzard putting the truck in the garage—his wife drove the truck to yoga but didn’t put it back in the garage.
The blizzard blew itself out in less than 30 minutes but the wind continued to blow all afternoon. We did brave the elements and take a little walk just at sunset.
I don’t know if it’s the weather or our moods but we sure don’t have a whole lot of energy. I even took a nap this afternoon, unusual for me. We were going over to Lonn’s this afternoon but when that stupid blizzard came through Michael decided we might not want to battle the West Boulder road and its snowdrifts.
And that’s about it for our Tuesday in Montana—I did hang the little doggie quilt:
and I went through my stash of completed quilt tops finding EIGHT tops which need quilting, most of them small but still, I need to get cracking!! Got one top measured and ready to go on the longarm—progress of a sort!
Eight finished tops, but get to cracking??? It is a hobby for you I hope.. It was 78 down here in Mesa this afternoon, so its nice here when you are ready...
ReplyDelete75 on our thermometer today!!! Come on down, the margaritas are delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteWell your motorhome is enjoying bright sunshine and increasingly warm temperatures. Don't forget your sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteNot sure I understand what the challenge is, but my darling wife is too nervous to put the car in the garage, so it always falls to me. I don't think that was your issue though? Just plum forgot? Had to pee?
ReplyDeleteOK, I'll stop now.
You won't know what to do when you get back to warmer temps. You will probably melt with the high temps...haha!
ReplyDeleteCute quilt!
Thank goodness for loving and forgiving hubbies who will go out in a storm to fix our problem. Gotta love 'em. Beautiful weather down here. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteHey....would those eight unquilted toppers be considered UFOs? haha

Totally understand your keen desire to head back south. Hopefully the days go by quickly and you'll be back in the heat.....with margaritas in hand.
ReplyDeleteI love your little "Doggie" Wall Hanging and would like to make it for an animal fundraiser. Can you tell me the name of the pattern and where it was purchased. Hope your travels are safe.

Beverly, I'm not sure what the name of that pattern is and did not bring it with me on our warm weather seeking trip. I will try Googling it to see if it's still out there.
