Remodel Has Started

Dinner at the McLeod Bar was great last night—finally some good food and we don’t have to drive 22 miles to get it, only six!!  But the food is significantly overpriced we feel—the bar has changed in that aspect!

Happy birthday Rollie—we called Rollie and Gina this morning to wish our good friend Rollie a very happy birthday.  He is happy—Gina has blown in from babysitting duties and has spent the week with him!

The remodel of the Tin Tee Pee has started—I got the ceiling primed today and Michael spent time trying to find a persistent leak around the front window—first he thought it was the window, nope, then he thought it was the clearance lights, nope, now about the only thing left is the seam in the roof over the window.

This afternoon we slogged over to Lonn and LoraLee’s to retrieve my portion of the Bountiful Basket they got in Livingston today—YUM—lots of good fruits and vegetables.IMG_3652

It was raining when we left the bar last night, was raining every time I was awake last night (which was often for some reason) and it has rained most of today.  At Lonn and LoraLee’s late this afternoon it was snowing!!  So, we have lots and lots of gooey mud!

Kind of a quiet Saturday in Montana.

  3. Nice to hear the remodel has started. Water leaks can be ridiculously hard to find sometimes, hope Mike tracks it down soon.

I'm not sure what a Bountiful Basket is but it looked pretty good!

    Howdy J&M,
It's not mud it's moisture, that makes grass, vegetables, flowers, shrubs and forbs grow!! Has McLeod's changed hands; or just cooks?? Leaks are one of the banes of aluminum T-Ps... You'll have a wonderful trailer when you finish.
I just had a thrill; as I was scanning the weather up your way BIG TIMBER was on the map!!! Hope the rain slows down some so it can soak in.. Maybe the sun will shine today!!

  5. Had to leave a quick comment Janna, I don't ever get tired of looking at your mountains, they are so pretty. Can't wait to see Rocky Mountain High Quilt, I bet it will one of the best you have ever done :-)..... By the way my surgery has been cancelled, I have a kidney infection again :-(. Don't know when it will be scheduled again, soon I hope.
