Sunday Dinner

It was another beautiful day here in Montana, temps near 80 degrees and blue, blue sky.  It was so nice and warm we had dinner on the deck this evening with friends Jeane & Steve, and Jill, Terry & Kerri.  Around this same time last year was when we were stranded on the side of the freeway waiting for the tow truck in a blowing snowstorm.  In early October, 2009 we got 2 feet of snow and it was 5 degrees below zero, quite a difference this year!

Michael worked on the Jeep again today trying to get the lighting hookup ready but is having problems—he will get it figured out I am sure.  We discovered today that the Jeep will not fit in our enclosed trailer—not even with grease down the sides.  The width wasn’t the problem, the roll bar will not clear the door frame.

I quilted some and spent the rest of the day cooking and doing laundry getting ready for our stay in Billings this week.

It was a great evening with great friends on a beautiful Montana Sunday.

  1. Oops, Michael sounds like you may be needing a new trailer. Especially if Janna needs to bring her long arm to the desert. Sure do miss y'all and can't wait to see y'all. Good to hear you are out getting chores done, means you're feeling better. Our prayers are with you as you are preparing for your doctor visit. We Love Y'all, Gina & Rollie

  2. Wow! This year sure beats last year weather wise! Too bad about the Jeep, hope you can find a solution to that without spending a fortune!

  4. OOPS! I just read that post to Steve.. and now I realize it's the height, not the width?

Steve says a Sawzall will take care of that!
