Summer Came Back

This was one of those “why we live in Montana” kind of days, sunny and very warm for late September—just glorious!

Once again Michael worked out in the garage all day—his hands and wrists are still swollen but there is very little pain now.

Nat came for lunch—we had pork chops, twice baked potatoes, peas and coleslaw—very good!

And I quilted the rest of the time finishing this adorable quilt my Aunt Marg made for her friend Marti’s husband Larry.  Isn’t it just the cutest thing—I swear the little puppy in the upper right corner is Emmi!  My Aunt also made me a smaller version of this quilt—I just don’t have it quilted yet!Aunt Margs & Martis Puppy Dog Quilt

We took a nice walk this evening—didn’t see any wildlife other than a deer.

  2. We are also having a great fall day here. It is a great time to be on the Northern Ranges but pretty as fall is it always reminds me that Indian Summer doesn't last forever.

  3. Now that is one mighty fine looking little doggy blanket alright. Or does a plain blanket go over the doggy first & then the doggy quilt over that. Hey, I'm a man.....what do I know about these things!!

  4. That's a beautiful "doggie" quilt! Do you make "kitty" quilts, too? Our little Megabyte would look real pretty on one of those quilts.:-)
I am really glad Michael is not in pain. Is the swelling uncomfortable?
We are also having wonderful weather. We have a beautiful forecast for this weeks Buffalo Roundup. We attended the Arts & Crafts Festival yesterday with Rollie & Gina and Mark & Dale. It was fun. Check our Blogs later for more details.
