Sunshine

There’s something spectacular about sunshine on fresh snow.  We had a beautiful day, no wind and sunshine on the new snow—spectacular!

Yoga for me this morning, lunch and then I decided to make a dinner and quilt delivery for Lonn and LoraLee.  I quickly came up with a simple menu—grilled pork tenderloin, baked potatoes, Caesar salad and homemade ice cream.  Michael worked on his shed project although I’m not sure how he kept from sliding down the mountain it was so muddy! Smile

Late in the afternoon we headed over the hill to Lonn and LoraLee’s—the drive was beautiful--

The trip home was equally as beautiful with the almost full moon shining on all that snow.  We had a good visit with them, LoraLee loved the quilt:

I’ve never owned a copy of The Joy of Cooking but Sarah’s meal a couple weeks ago inspired me to obtain a copy which arrived today—that’s a big cookbook—lots of good reading, I love cookbooks!

A good day on the Boulder.
