I was off to yoga after taking a walk with Michael and the Emmi girl. It was Lesley’s birthday and I had baked blueberry and pumpkin scones for a little after yoga celebration.
Back home I made a quick lunch for Michael and Nat who had come up to run the sawmill—making more boards for Michael’s shed project.
I had hoped my thread for finishing LoraLee’s quilt would come in the mail today but nope. So, instead I loaded Jane’s extra large backing onto the zippers—that is gonna be one, humongous quilt!!
My dirty windows have been bugging me for a while—I usually do windows (not my favorite thing to do) once in the spring and once in the fall—well, I missed the spring cleaning and the windows were in desperate need of attention. Got the back half of the house windows done today, maybe tomorrow I will do the rest.
It was a beautiful day today—very little wind and warm. But that is going to change tomorrow and Thursday—rain and possibly snow. Mother Nature needs to get on track and get us back on Indian summer programming as our Alberta friends John and Brenda are coming next week.
It was an 81 year old man who was killed yesterday while walking along the interstate—who, why—no one knows as of yet.
It sure looks like a beautiful day with magnificent views.
ReplyDeleteNow I have a need to make pumpkin scones:)
