We’ve all heard that saying, “keeping up with the Jones’?” Well, today Michael was keeping up with the Bayfield Bunch. He washed the motorhome—see what you started Al????
He also kept himself busy cutting sticks for the trim on the cabinet doors in the Tin Tee Pee. We are both ready to be finished with that little trailer for sure!
I spent the day doing the things that always seem to need doing—watering, feeding birds, playing with Emmi and oh, yes, quilting. Made great progress on Shirley’s quilt today.
We got three good size yellow squash and a handful of sweet peas from our garden this morning. The corn is waist high but no tassels yet, it better hurry! Good size tomatoes with even some hint of color starting to show (sorry Claire).
And speaking of birds, can you help us out here Judy??
We’ve got a little motorhome trip coming up soon—I better get cleaning on the inside since the outside is so spiffy!!
Our temps are so pleasant tonight and the high tomorrow is not expected to be higher than 75 degrees! But, back up in the 90’s by Sunday.
Congratulations are certainly in order for our granddaughter Laci—she was promoted to Staff Sergeant today in Italy!!!
Please pass along a big CONGRATULATIONS to Laci for us. Getting promoted is one of the best feelings for sure.

You must be very proud of your granddaughter. Congratulations to all.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an Eastern Kingbird to me. Notice the white tips to the tail feathers. This bird often is found on a conspicuous perch from which it flies up to catch insects on the wing. Even though it's an EASTERN Kingbird, it's common in Montana in the right habitat. :)
ReplyDeleteHOO-AHH to your granddaughter!
