Wild Goose Chase

We were off to Roundup near Billings this morning before 9am going to look at another vehicle.  What are people thinking when they tell someone, “oh, yea—the car is in great shape, only thing wrong with it is the clear coat is starting to peel on the roof, wouldn’t be afraid to take it anywhere.”  Did the guy think we wouldn’t notice the duct tape holding the armrest together or the two wires hanging out of the door panel that you had to touch together to roll the window down???  What a wasted trip!  Granted the vehicle was older but you do expect people to tell the truth—guess not and guess we will be a little more blunt with our phone questions—“any duct tape holding anything together??”

We made a quick dash into the Costco pre-July4 shopping madness and picked up some watermelon for our party on Sunday then headed home.  It was hot in Billings, 90 degrees.  Much nicer here at home.

The party we attended last night was very pleasant, weather was perfect, setting was gorgeous, food was delicious and company was great.

This is a very social weekend—we are attending a wedding Saturday night and we are having our annual July 4 party Sunday.
