Homeless Again

Michael got a wild hair yesterday and asked me to list our motor home on Craigslist—it went on yesterday morning and this afternoon we sold it!!!!  Both of us are still in shock.  So, once again we are homeless!

I spent the day quilting and if we hadn’t had someone looking at the motor home I would have finished my Aunt Marg’s 1930’s quilt.  As it was I only have one more row to quilt, YEA!

Tomorrow we are delivering the motorhome to its new owner in Helena, about a 3 hour drive from here.  Then over to Lonn and LoraLee’s for dinner—the ranch owner is providing the lasagna and I will provide the rest.  LoraLee had her ankle surgery today and will spend tonight in the hospital and come home tomorrow.  Laci leaves on Saturday to head back to the base in San Antonio and we are going over tomorrow night to say goodbye.

Strange weather again, woke to clouds and cool temps—we were completed shrouded in clouds on our morning walk.  Sun later in the day and now thunder, lightening and rain.

  1. So do you plan to get a new motorhome? Or will I only get to meet you if I come to Big Timber? :)

  2. Lucky you to sell this quickly. Hope you will find a better one. Are you looking or will you stay home.

  3. I know you, you have the travel gene we all have. So you have never stay at home for long. I can't wait to see what you get.

  4. Simply amazing! Beware of Michael's future "wild hair" ideas! He might start goin' crazy selling other stuff...
Do you have your eye on another "home?" Anxious to hear! Enjoy!

  5. Congratulations on selling your motorhome so quickly. You tell Mike I know where there is a beautiful Teton fifth wheel along with a matching truck like mine for sale.LOL We should be out your way in about three weeks so save us a spot.

    Hope to see Y'all soon,

    Rollie & Gina

  6. Yep, that was a bit of shocker to read this morning alright but I sure can understand Mike's feelings. It was a decision we had to make before we bought our rig. Couldn't be too new because we couldn't afford it & couldn't be to old because I couldn't fix it. Fortunately we lucked out & found something in between that has served us well ever since. Was really surprised you sold it so fast too. Will be interested to see what you guys come up with now because I know 'staying home' is not an option for you.......

  7. Dang, Janna, sold in one day? I'm surprised you got any quilting done at all. Didn't you have to spend a lot of time getting all your stuff out of the rig? :)

  8. We just want to know how big a 5th wheel you're planning on? LOL, can't wait to see what you get next.

  9. ACK! Can't believe it sold that fast! I bet the new owners will love it and enjoy it for many more years. Sooooo waiting for the pics of the new one to be posted as soon as you find it!
