It was such a beautiful morning Emmi and I decided to head for Port Aransas again. Less humidity and some sun made for a beautiful morning. I’ve always loved the ocean—I’m not big on swimming but there is just something mesmerizing about those waves, I love the smells (except for dead fish ) and enjoy watching the birds. This beach doesn’t provide very good beachcombing—I’ve found a couple tiny sand dollars and some plain shells but not much else—it could be I’m always looking to see where Emmi has gotten off to!
What is he Judy—I looked and looked in my Smithsonian Field Guide to the Birds of North America with no luck—is there a better bird book out there??
Isn’t that sound soothing??
Back home I started in on the mundane things—laundry, etc. I made good progress with the quilt I started yesterday. Paid bills, balanced the checkbook—boring but necessary.
Gina is heading off again—to help Ashley and Parker move into their new home for the next few years while they both complete their medical education. Ashley starts her residency soon and Parker his internship.
A good day.
