It was reckoning day I guess, Ellie wanted to attend a Weight Watchers meeting and I decided it was time to learn about the new WW program—and to get on the dreaded scales—not a pretty picture!
But to even out all the bad news we decided to also make it a girl’s day out. Deb wasn’t able to join us as she and Rod needed to take their rig into Quartzsite. Ellie gathered Gina and me up about 8:30 and off we went.
After the meeting we headed for what else but lunch—we were all good though and ate healthy. Then of course we had to exercise and what better way to exercise than walking through the mall with an occasional stop to purchase something! Wal Mart was our last stop in Lake Havasu and we headed back down that extremely busy road to Parker and Bouse.
JoAnn and Doug were right behind us coming in—they are joining us for some boondocking for a few days before having to be in Tucson early next week. Deb and Rod were right on their heels returning from Quartzsite. This gang accompanied Jim and Ellie to Parker for dinner at the Mexican place. Rollie and Gina and the two of us elected to stay in and eat our leftovers!
It was another great day in the desert—thank you Ellie for driving and being my inspiration to lose weight!
Michael and Rollie went for a jeep tour and kept Emmi company!
The way you all can cook, I'm sorry, I don't see Weight Watchers working as long as you're altogether in the desert!
ReplyDeleteWow.. you guys keep getting more and more boondocking pals in the desert! Pretty soon you are gonna start your own village????
