A very cold lion that is!! Last night when we came home from Livingston after having gone out to eat with friends it was about 50 degrees with rain. We woke to 12 degrees this morning and a touch of snow. I think our high temperature today was about 20 degrees! Tonight’s temp is to be below zero. Michael thought our motorhome looked as if it were crying—“why didn’t you take me south sooner??”
We bundled up and took a walk this morning then each started on projects—I am working on a precious quilt for my friend Jeane—Warm Winter’s Blessings it is called:
I borrowed this photo from Paulette’s blog—she scored a kit on sale!! for making this sweet little quilt! The fabrics are adorable and Jeane has done such a good job with the needlework—once it’s quilted and Jeane has seen it I will post photos—that is IF the quilt ever gets back to Jeane, do you think she would buy, “I’m just not quite finished with the quilting,” for a couple years???
The cowboy is building a steel plate for attaching a snow plow to our skidsteer—should make plowing snow a bunch easier.
That’s it for our day here in frozen Montana!
I guess winter has begun for you. Time to head South. Our temp was 32 F this morning, way too cold for me. Sun was shining though and it warmed up later. Wish I could still go South.
ReplyDeleteYou need to blow that Popsicle stand fast!
ReplyDeleteThose are some mighty cold looking photos you have there.......
ReplyDeleteOh man, we're getting the cold blast in the morning. I'm thinking of spending the winter in the Caribbean!! HA
ReplyDeleteOh, Janna!! This is so cold!! I agree with the MH!! Poor thing! Stay warm, could be a long week. That means lots of quilting:)
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I was thinking--no yard work, no grass to mow, house is clean--just quilting!
DeleteThat is not a happy looking MH! Funny how the first snow is so much prettier than the last :-) Hope the cowboy was able to do some of this project inside - snow plows just don't sound as cozy as quilting. I'm thinking Jeanne may want her quilt sooner rather than later :-))))
ReplyDeleteYOWZER...Even the snowmen look colder out your way!! It's time to fly south!!
ReplyDeleteAZ is ready for you....anytime :-)
ReplyDeleteUgh! That's about all I can say other than snow photos do look nice when taken from a safe distance!!
ReplyDeleteYour view is absolutely amazing! It dropped from 70+ yesterday to 35 now and still going down. Our first snow is predicted this weekend (very early) however less than 75 miles from here it is snowing now.
ReplyDeleteThat cold weather and snow must fuel your desire to head south. Lovely scenes though.
ReplyDeleteLooking at that poor motorhome, I feel a little sad!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr it sure got cold fast! hope to escape this winter sometime and head to the desert... maybe in Feb.
ReplyDeleteYour photo really makes me shiver! Way to cold for me!
ReplyDeleteI saw that on the weather this morning and it just made me cold thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteHaha...welcome after. Winter got here too.
