Our Baby Arrived

Lora Elizabeth entered the world about 6:19pm last evening and she is simply adorable!  I had the privilege of  hanging out with Laci and John throughout the day and Laci was a trooper—she did a great job!!  Lora Elizabeth weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces and has baby blue eyes—both parents are blue eyed.  This morning Michael and I went up to the hospital and I got to hold her for about a hour—I was in heaven!  I think I can get used to this being a great-grandmother except I am going to be a Mimi!

We made the decision to head across the border into Canada this afternoon.  So, blogs and other social media postings will be sporadic until we actually get to Alaska where we will once again have internet and phone.
