Early Rising

It’s amazing what you can accomplish in a day when getting up before 5:30am!!  And why were we up before 5:30—who knows.  Here in Montana it is starting to be daylight by then and our bedroom has lots of windows—I’ve always had a hard time sleeping past day break, Michael even more so.

By 9am I had the sheets on the bed changed, three loads of laundry done, folded and put away, the house vacuumed and dusted and packages readied for mailing when we left for Billings.  Michael arrived back home just in time for lunch—leftovers.

Then it was off to Billings again—this time to look at another vehicle in immaculate condition, only driven by a little old lady—you get the picture.  Needless to say, we didn’t come home with a new to us rig, what are these people thinking?

Tomorrow I plan on quilting and NOT going to Billings.

  1. You do realize that you will need to make a trip to Billings while we are there. Or maybe we can come to Big Timber. But not at no 5:30 in the morning.

  2. Wow, you accomplish alot before noon. I get up at 5:30, but really don't get started until about 9. I make coffe, mess around on the computer, then maybe take my first nap while the news is on. I gain momentum as the day goes on.

  4. Like you, I have a hard time staying in bed after dawn. Too many things to see and do to waste time lying around!

  5. Wow, you get up and GO! I love getting up early, fixing coffee, and playing around with my computer. I can sit for hours before I get anything done. Of course, on workdays I'm at work sitting at my desk at 7:00 am, maybe when I'm retired I won't be so lazy on days off! :)
