This photo says all there is to say about our crummy weather today-- Taken through the windshield of the jeep—we got so bored and decided to take a drive this afternoon. Close to another 2 inches of rain today and just downright nasty and cold.
Michael is staring to build the new cabinets for the toyhauler and I worked on a customer quilt today. Leftovers for lunch—see, it was a very boring day around here!
My sister called earlier today and it was almost 90 degrees there in Arkansas—made me homesick for all the times we headed to the lake on Memorial Day weekend to ski endless hours behind my brother Ross’ boat. Michael made the mistake of saying we had plenty of water for skiing here, too—that earned him “the look!”
Downhill skiing in the creek, sounds `cool`. Keep your rain down there we had a beautiful day here today and so far the forecast looks good for a few days anyway.
ReplyDeleteYaaaaay Mike.....good one:))
ReplyDeleteI bet he didn't say another word after "the look". The weather channel is saying sunshine later this week in Billings. I sure hope so.
ReplyDeleteRain is still much better than having to experience a tornado. It was a beautiful day in Fayetteville, AR (my hometown)! Hopefully, the rain will stop and the sun will come out tomorrow. Happy Memorial Day.
ReplyDeletegorgeous sunset shot today Janna!..it was a nice sunny day today here..but I wasn't in much of a mood for going anywhere!..
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any rain down here but we sure do have WIND!! We left North Ranch at 7:30 am and had to stop in Flagstaff at 11:30 am because of HIGH winds and dust storm warnings all along I-40. Winds were 65+ mph. It was so bad it lifted one of our Fantastic Fan vent covers up out of the locked position and cracked it. We had to stop before along the road so Mike could get up on top and duct tape it down. I was afraid it would blow him off the top.
ReplyDeleteWe only made 160 miles yesterday but we'll get an early start this morning and see how far we get. Hugs...........
I'm familiar with giving 'the look'! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear someone else gets 'the look' on occasion.
