Sweet Grass County Fair

When I left for Nashville last Thursday, I left early enough to go by our local fairgrounds to check out the quilt display—am very glad I did.  The quilt which won Best of Show belongs to a classmate of Michael’s and was hand pieced and hand quilted—absolutely gorgeous!!

There were many beautiful quilts and several of them I had quilted which always makes me feel good!!

And then there was this art quilt which a friend, Vickie made—it is just the coolest quilt--IMG_7574

It is good to be home—I slept like a rock last night after my early rising that morning.  Nat came for lunch and to run the sawmill—we had pork tenderloin on the grill, Pioneer Woman’s potatoes, salad and grilled tomatoes.  Homemade ice cream for dessert.

I spent most of the day getting the motorhome ready to go and cooking.  That’s about it for our day in Montana.

  1. So sorry to hear about Nat's roof. Looks like more storms around tonight. The quilts really are pretty. So many different designs and colors.
