Time Change

Does anyone other than myself get really tired this time of year—I was ready to go to bed at 2pm this afternoon—there is something about this time change business which really kicks my butt for a few days.  Why don’t we just leave the clock alone???

Nat came for lunch—we had grilled pork tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes and salad.  I had made oatmeal/chocolate chip/pecan cookies for Nat to take home—we had some of those for dessert.

Michael pulled the engine from the jeep which was in the garage and will now put parts from that engine in the other jeep we own.  I think we have too many jeeps!

I quilted—in between cooking.  I have the last of Marti’s quilts on the frame—a sweet little wall hanging requiring lots and lots of stitch in the ditch.  Here’s Marti’s bed runner I finished yesterday:

And that’s about it for our Sunday—

  4. I love the fact that AZ doesn't change to DST. But I have trouble remembering that for half the year we are an hour behind MT. So we don't suffer the same physical confusion. However, when we travel, I really feel the different time zones. Beautiful bed runner.

  5. The time not changing a couple times a year is just one of the many things we like about Arizona:))

  6. I actually like the time change as it gives us more daylight during the summer. It also seems to mark the beginning and end of the seasons too.

    Beautiful job on those quilts!
