Let’s See, What Did We Do Today

We were up and out early this morning leaving Ms Emmi home alone, oh no!!!  Michael needed to get some routine blood work drawn and of course had to be fasting.  That chore accomplished we made two quick stops, one for some more paint and then we were heading back up the Boulder.

Right after we got home and listened to Emmi howl for what seemed like forever Shirley came up to get some assistance putting together a big, huge quilt backing.  Lunch then we both headed off to various projects.

Many years ago Michael obtained some HUGE landscaping rocks—today he moved some of those down to the pond area—sure glad we have equipment, those rocks are HUGE!  He also adjusted the sprinkler heads on the garden in hope more area will be covered.

I spent the afternoon painting the ceiling of the Tin Tee Pee—finally we got a color we both like!  I think I have a permanent crick in my neck from painting over my head.  Smile

And finally, the last thing I did today was mow the grass—I love how our yard and flower beds look this time of year. IMG_3675

Here’s what the garden looks like IMG_3674

Corn on the left, potatoes in the back, radishes, lettuce and onions in the middle and peas on the right.

  1. Janna you could have used the excuse of moving rocks and I'm sure Gina would have found a reason to come help Mike move them. Your garden looks beautiful!!! The flower garden that is. The food garden is too young. However, I'm sure it will look great in a few weeks.
    Love and hugs,
    Rollie and Gina

  2. Your garden seems to be coming along nicely. I got a kick out of how Emmi howled when you came home - that'll teach you to leave her! Our Molly does that too.

  3. I think Michael loves his projects and treats your yard like a big boy with his sandbox toys!
