If we had judged the day’s weather by the early morning sky we wouldn’t have thought the sun would shine but shine it did! And, I think today was our warmest day since we returned home from Arizona.
Michael worked on this and that until after lunch then went over to Lonn’s to pick up a load of firewood. After getting home he decided to go up to Robyn and Claire’s and retrieve the older mini-excavator—Lonn has some firewood we are going to get and the excavator will make it easy to load the logs into the trailer.
I spent the day quilting looking longingly out at the sunshine but I had a quilt to finish—not quite but almost finished it! Emmi spent a long time outside with Michael this morning—she loves to be outside but likes one of us out there with her!
While cooking lunch I talked to our friend Mary out in Spokane. She just returned from a fabulous trip—a float trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon! My Dad and I always talked about taking that trip and never got it done.
And that’s all for today.
Awesome pics!
ReplyDeleteThe views out your windows are to die for! Hope the warm weather continues. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad Emmi could enjoy some time outside without the rain pouring down on her.
ReplyDeleteGreat views! Warm weather is good, but there can be too much of that-we had 101 today!
