The Search Goes On

It is HOT in Spokane and humid! We left MT yesterday morning before 7am. Looked at three motorhomes yesterday afternoon--the Safari for which we had high hopes was a definite no--way too old and used! Today we looked at a Safari Cheetah and it was definitely not the quality of the older Safari motorhomes.

Then we got another wild hair and dared to venture to a couple of dealers. UGH! What shysters!!! We have looked at one rig today that we might consider and have made an offer--a Country Coach that is beautiful. The rig is on consignment and the salesman assured us there was no way the owner would accept our almost half offer. Well, low and behold the owner is within a few thousand dollars of our offer! We came back to Mary and Gene's for lunch, to see about Emmi and to re-group!

While here at Mary and Gene's, Michael got on Craigslist and ventured out of Spokane a little to Boise, ID. There is a 1998 Country Coach with 5500 miles on it, yes 5500 miles, always stored inside. The owners are elderly, bought the coach to use, decided to develop a subdivision and just never had the time to use it--now they are too old and in ill health to use it! How very, very sad! But, we might just take a drive to Boise tomorrow.

Tonight we are going to take Mary and Gene out to dinner in Liberty Lake. That is if we don't melt in this humidity!
