The sun was peaking through the clouds this morning and by the end of the day, we had full sunshine, YEA! It improved my attitude considerably!
Michael was out the door early this morning to join up with Steve in town and head to Billings for an antique car auction. Nothing must have caught their eye cause they came home empty handed. (Should I be glad??)
I finished the lonestar quilt today and I love it!
I hope my customer is as pleased as I am! For those non-quilter readers, my customer pieced, as in put all the tiny pieces together, this quilt and I provided the overall quilting design. It was my first lonestar to quilt and I love it! I may have to make one of these!
When I got the quilt off the frame I took a break from quilting and mowed our walking paths across the hay meadows. We live in rattlesnake country and there is nothing scarier than hearing a rattlesnake while walking through tall grass—so, thus, I mow us a path—it’s worth the effort for me!
Today is our USAF Granddaughter Laci’s 20th birthday, she just called to thank us for her present (what every girl needs—money). Happy Birthday Laci!
Life is good!
Beautiful quilting!
ReplyDeleteJanna, Beautiful quilting. It really showcases the quilt. Thanks for showing it.

Lovely job on that quilt, Janna! Maybe someday I'll have you do one of mine! I have a guild question for you, and if you can't answer just say so. There are 2 guilds in my area; I've been unable to join either one because they both meet during the day and I"m still working. Once we hit the road next year, I'd like to be able to visit guilds in other states - do I need to be a member of a guild to do so? I'd like to just come to some meetings; join in on some stitching days, etc.
ReplyDeleteOh you caught the light just right in that photo to show off the stitching... what a good testament to the lovely designs you do!
