It is a very sad day in Montana today. We had our precious Jazzy girl put to sleep this morning. She was having more and more difficulty breathing and we needed to end her suffering.
Jazz came to live with us just as we started building this house eight years ago. We put a blanket in a milk carton and she road in the backhoe with Dad while he dug the footings and basement for our house. She was a little bundle of energy and joy with such personality and we miss her so much.

ReplyDeleteJust read about Jazz & feel so very sorry for you. It always saddens me when an animal dies. They are so much a part of our lives & it leaves a void that is never filled. Max, Checkers, & little Motormouse send their special thoughts to Jazz..............
ReplyDeleteYes, that is they way you should see her. Chasing bunny rabbits and in her healthy body. What a JOY to behold. We release her to the universe but loved her so much here on Earth!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to have met her.
love, Nancy and Geoff

ReplyDeleteIm sorry. I'm remembering the time Eric and I were out there, before the girls came along, and Jazz would wake Eric up in bed. We loved that dog. And remember when Jazz got up in the bed at Grandma's house with one of the girls when she was a baby? I can't remember if it was Elizabeth or Leah. They loved her too. I love that picture of her jumping through the grass. What a precious dog. Wonder what Pete and Reba think about her?!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I did not sign my comment. I was the first. Love, Mary Ellen
